Why were two German soldiers and a British commando skiing together down a valley in the Austrian Alps? The answer lay buried in the heart of one of those mountains — a king’s ransom in jewellery, known as the Kellenburg Collection. It had already caused the deaths of two men, and it was going to kill another one before the day was out!
