The courageous exploits of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution during the Second World War are often overlooked. However, without these brave volunteers, many pilots, sailors and even army men would have perished in the waters around Britain.

The crew of The Remarkable were among these R.N.L.I. volunteers. Rob Bishop, Andy Price and Ian Kirkwood weren’t in it for the glory, but they would prove that they were no weekend warriors!
